I love every roster maker who chooses to put their hard work up in the OS forums, and there’s an even deeper appreciation for those who focus on games that don’t get as much love — and are very hard to make rosters for to begin with — and NHL 25 falls into that category. With that said, OS user stlgamer09 has put out the first version of their franchise mode ready rosters for NHL 25.
These rosters take a ton of time to put together, and on top of the complications that come with trying to keep prospects and non-NHL players aligned, there are some general headaches with just having rosters that work right within franchise mode. OSer stlgamer09 has done most of that painstaking work for us, and now you can benefit. These are absolutely the rosters to use if you want to start a franchise mode — whether you just snagged the game on Black Friday or have been waiting for the release of these rosters since you purchased the game back in September.
NHL 25 Franchise Mode Ready Rosters
It’s easy enough to download these rosters on current-gen platforms. You go to the “More” option on the main menu and then click “Roster Sharing” before clicking “Download Community Files” to get to the search area. From there:
- User: Briancstl
- File: Official Fran Ready V1
I would personally search for the file name rather than the user as EA’s search can be a little buggy. If you can’t find it through either method, just put in “Official Fran Ready” rather than the whole file name to likely fix that issue (if you have it).
Here is what’s included in V1:
- All drafted prospects that teams have rights to
- Draft Classes for 2025-2028 with prospects spread throughout
- Goalie Equipment Updated for NHL, AHL, Draft Classes and goalies with NHL rights
- Updated Transactions
- Retired players moved to ECHL or Champions League
- Likeness and Equipment is different for all
- Players with Playoff Beards
- Ratings adjusted nothing too drastic for the first one
- Correct draft picks
You can get a look at some of the draft prospects in this post. You can also thank stlgamer09 for their work in the thread.
